Pricing

 

It would be great to be able to just teach guitar all day for free, however, I can't do that yet, so here's what it costs, with a couple of payment options.

The normal studio lesson is 1/2 hour once a week, $20 per week. There are usually 4 lessons per month, at $80 per month. Occasionally, there is a fifth lesson day in a month, so then it's $100 that month.

 

If you have a second family member taking lessons, their lesson is eligible for a $5.00 per week discount.

If you wish, longer lesson times can be arranged - 1 hour lessons are $35. If you wish, you may have more than one lesson per week. There is no discount for that, as the time would be otherwise filled by another student, but some students would prefer to get more instruction time.

Your lesson time is a regular, scheduled appointment. The time is allotted for you. I will be there to keep our appointment. It is expected that you will do the same. If you are unable to come to a lesson, please give at least 6 hours notice. A missed lesson without proper notice will not be made up. I will make an effort to provide a make-up day to catch-up missed lessons (up to four per calendar year), however, there are no refunds for missed lessons.

 

It is preferred that payment be made by the month, in advance. If you're able, and wish to, you can pay for a quarter at a time. Some people like to do that, because then they don't have to worry about it for a while.

 

Payment may be made by cash, check, or PayPal.

 

Remember to plan your payments so that you get the next one in at least 7 days (1 lesson) before the current payment is used up. That way, I don't have to worry about it either.

Obviously, if you don't pay, or are consistently late, I may have to place another student in your time slot, so please attend to these rules.
